Preparation
Before you can target DRAC, you must:
Install DRAC admin tools including racadm.exe
Set up a target system administrator
Install DRAC admin tool including racadm.exe
Bravura Security Fabric communicates with DRAC via Dell RACADM (Remote Access Controller Admin) utility, which is a command-line utility. Before you can target DRAC, you must install DRAC OpenManage Tools, which includes racadm.exe on the Bravura Security Fabric server or proxy server. The RACADM utility can be obtained from Dell product CD or Dell official website for downloading.
Ensure you update the system path to include the location where racadm.exe is installed.
Setting up a target system administrator
Bravura Security Fabric uses a designated account on Dell Remote Access Controller to perform Bravura Security Fabric operations. Create an account with appropriate permissions if one does not already exist.
Targeting the Dell Remote Access Controller system
For each Dell Remote Access Controller system, add a target system in Bravura Security Fabric (Manage the System > Resources > Target systems).
Type is Dell Remote Access Controller (DRAC) .
Address uses the following options:
Server Dell Remote Access Controller IP address.
(key: server)
Port Use port number if the DRAC port number is not the default port (443), optional.
(key: port)
The address is entered as follows:
{server=<IP address>/[;port=<port number>;]}
The full list of target parameters is explained in Target System Options.
Handling account attributes
You can view the complete list of attributes that Bravura Security Fabric can manage, including native and pseudo-attributes, using the Manage the system (PSA) module. To do this, select Dell Remote Access Controller (DRAC) from the Manage the system > Resources > Account attributes > Target system type menu.
For information about the native Dell Remote Access Controller attributes managed by Bravura Security Fabric , consult your Dell Remote Access Controller documentation.
Troubleshooting
When a "Failed to run command line interface executable or the command exited" error occurs, ensure Dell RACADM utility (racadm.exe) is installed and system path is updated properly, and check the target system to ensure the DRAC remote IP address and port number is set correctly.
