Invalidating users

When a user no longer has any accounts on any source of profile IDs, the user’s profile ID is invalidated immediately by default. Once the profile is invalid, the API Service can no longer retrieve information on the account associations or attributes.

You can configure a delay between the day that accounts are deleted and the day that the profile is invalidated. This allows you to issue requests and query data before the user is fully removed. Type the number of days in the INVALID USER DELAY DAYS setting in the Maintenance > Options menu.
