Deprecated and removed connectors and replacements

There may be connector-specific considerations or precautions to take before you upgrade. Check the topics on this site for each of your target systems, and look for an "Upgrading the connector" section. If upgrade guidelines exist for your connectors, be sure to complete them before upgrading the Connector Pack.

Connectors may have been replaced by other connectors. If a connector is removed it will be moved to the backup directory, inside the directory for the global Connector Pack or Bravura Security Fabric instance.

If you still want to use the removed connector, you can use the binary that came with your previous Connector Pack version, or copy the removed connector from the backup directory to the agent directory and run:

loadplatform -a agt<xxx>

If the removed connector is replaced by a new (updated) connector and you want to use the new connector, ensure that it is selected in a custom install, or perform a complete installation.

Note

You may need to reconfigure some target system settings and/or event actions.
