  • Create a system-wide environment variable HPUCMDB_HOME and set the value as the path to a new folder.

  • Copy the lib folder from a remote DataFlowProbe installation into the HPUCMDB_HOME folder.

  • Copy the secured_storage.bin file from the DataFlowProbe installation to the HPUCMDB_HOME folder. This file can be found in hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\conf\security\.

  • Copy the DataFlowProbe.properties file from the DataFlowProbe installation to the HPUCMDB_HOME folder. This file can be found in hp\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\conf\ .

The DataFlowProbe installation above cannot be on the same machine as the HP UCMDB server.

Targeting the HP UCMDB Server

For each HP UCMDB Server system, add a target system in Bravura Security Fabric (Manage the System > Resources > Target systems):

  • Type is HP Universal Configuration Management Database.

  • Address uses options described in the table below.

  • The administrative credentials must be set to the default data flow probe connection account UCMDB_DA_User. The password is ignored.

  • Ensure the Load custom accounts discovery option is enabled.

The full list of target parameters is explained in Target System Options .
