Benefits of Connector Pack

The Connector Pack being separated from Bravura Security Fabric enables more frequent upgrades to the connectors between upgrades to the Bravura Security Fabric . Upgrading, adding and removing connectors is a relatively simple procedure.

The Connector Pack 4.7.0 can integrate with Bravura Security Fabric 10.1.x or newer.

The Connector Pack can be implemented as either an instance-specific Connector Pack or a global Connector Pack . The instance-specific Connector Pack installs directly into and is only used by the specified instance. The global Connector Pack is installed once and is used by all instances of Bravura Security Fabric running on that machine.

Other benefits to having the Connector Pack as a standalone utility separate from Bravura Security Fabric include:

  • Existing Connector Pack installations are upgradeable if a newer connector-pack-x64.msi is available to setup.

  • You can select which connectors from the Connector Pack to install.

  • If the connectors you are installing already exist in the instance, they are backed up before being replaced.

  • The setup program lists all Connector Pack instances (instance-specific and global) when launched.

  • You can remove Connector Pack instances via the Windows "Add and Remove Programs" utility, as well as setup.
