Bravura Security-Verified and Customer-Verified connectors
Bravura Security connectors are defined as follows:
- Bravura Security-Verified connectors
These connectors are developed and regression tested within Bravura Security’s software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and reliability.
- Customer-Verified connectors
While not part of the formal software development lifecycle, they are proven integrations used by Bravura Security customers and offer value through their practical deployment in real-world scenarios. It is anticipated that Customer-Verified connectors work with the latest release of Bravura Security Fabric , but changes to the target application or Bravura Security products may produce unexpected results. Customer-Verified connectors should be adequately tested within the client's test environment before being implemented.
- Custom connectors
Bravura Security-Verified or Customer-Verified that have been modified for a customer.
- Deprecated connectors
These connectors will be removed in future releases of Bravura Security Fabric.
- Removed connectors
These connectors have gone through the deprecation process and are no longer offered by Bravura Security.
Support for customer-verified connectors
Clients may contact Bravura Security support for assistance with Bravura Security-Verified and Customer-Verified connectors. Troubleshooting and testing for Customer-Verified connectors must be completed in the client's test environment as Bravura Security does not maintain internal test environments for the associated target systems.
How the status is set
A connector’s status can change from Bravura Security-Verified to Customer-Verified when:
Software that was previously available is no longer available due to changes made by the third parties to restrict access to documentation and test systems. Sometimes third parties may adjust partner programs that increase or introduce costs to access SDKs, documentation and test systems.
Software that used to be popular is no longer being offered or supported by the third-party vendor.
APIs are deprecated or are substantially changed leading to major compatibility problems. For example, SAP deprecated their legacy APIs in favor of a NetWeaver based API.
Platforms grow in their capabilities and require a new strategy or approach for management.
A connector’s status can change from Customer-Verified to Bravura Security-Verified when:
Bravura Security gains access to cost-effective test environments for the software in question.
Bravura Security establishes a technical partnership with a vendor and can access their documentation and test environments.
