Registering a Voice Print for Authentication via Phone

Bravura Pass can be integrated with an interactive voice response (IVR) system to enable you to authenticate and reset a forgotten password or a locked-out account from a phone.

You can use Bravura Pass to obtain a special PIN that allows you to register your voice for telephone authentication. To do this:

  1. From the main menu , click Generate voice print enrollment PIN.

If you have not already registered your voice, depending on your module configuration, Bravura Pass either:

    • Prompts you to enter an all-numeric ID to use on the IVR system, or

    • Assigns an all-numeric ID for you to use, based on the numeric translation of one of your accounts or Bravura Pass profile ID.

  2. If required, enter your all-numeric ID.

  3. Bravura Pass displays a random PIN.

The PIN is good for only one use and expires after a period defined by a Bravura Pass administrator. Bravura Pass may also display a phone number and navigation tips for you to use when accessing the IVR system.

You can now register your voice print by calling the IVR system and following the prompts.

Once you have successfully registered your voice print, the link to Generate voice print enrollment PIN is no longer displayed in the self-service options menu.
