Upgrade overview
An in-place upgrade is usually sufficient to take advantage of feature improvements and performance enhancements in a newer version. There may be situations where the upgrade involves a migration of data from old servers to new servers at the same time as the upgrade. Using setup to perform upgrades and patches can be simple; however proper research, analysis, and planning is required to ensure that it works. This should be carried out by someone familiar with deploying Bravura Security Fabric .
In general, Bravura Security recommends the following path when upgrading Bravura Security Fabric :
Carry out research and analysis so that you know what to expect, and have information on hand when prompted.
This includes an inventory of your systems, and product configuration, requirements and customization.
