The following Bravura Security Fabric operations are supported by this connector:

  • user verify password

  • get server information

  • administrator reset password

  • enable account

  • disable account

  • check account enabled

  • List:

    • accounts

    • attributes

    • computer objects

Adding a target administrator

Create an administrative user, usually named psadmin, to allow Bravura Security Fabric to communicate with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Server.

Targeting a McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Server

For each McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Server, add a target system in Bravura Security Fabric (Manage the System > Resources > Target systems).

  • Type is McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Server.

  • Address uses the following options:

    Server The server’s host name or IP address.

    (key: server)

    Port The TCP port number, typically 8443.

    (key: port)

    Connection over SSL Select to enforce SSL connections. Default is "true".

    (key: ssl)

    Validate the server’s certificate when connecting Determines whether to validate the server’s security certificate for SSL connections. Default is "true".

    (key: checkCert)

    HTTP Network Proxy (Optional) Proxy URL to use for connecting.

    (key: proxy)

    The address is entered in KVGroup syntax:

    {server=<server name>;port=<port>;[proxy=<URL>;][ssl=<true|false>;][checkCert=<true|false>;]}

    For example:

    {server=mca50.domain.local;port=8443;proxy=10.0.0.1:80;checkCert=false;}

  • Administrator credentials are the login ID and password for the target system administrator.
