Onboarding via Directory Connector CLI

You can synchronize Bravura Safe to an existing user directory to automatically add or remove new users and groups. The user experience is the same as manual onboarding.

Using the desktop application first to setup and configure all of your settings can be helpful, before using the Directory Connector CLI.

To set up onboarding via Directory Connector CLI:

  1. Use the directory connector desktop application to set authentication values, such as keys or secrets, in the Directory Connector data.json file.

    Authentication values of this type cannot be set in plain text using the CLI, they must use the encrypted version that the desktop application will input for you.

  2. Download the Directory Connector CLI.

  3. Configure Directory Connector with the API keys and sync users/groups into the enterprise Team.

  4. Edit the JSON file to populate required fields.

  5. Run a test sync to confirm appropriate users will be onboarded during synchronization.

  6. Syncs to the appropriate application.

User experience

The user experience when onboarding with Directory Connector CLI is the same as manual onboarding.
