Synchronizing a new node with an existing set of Bravura Security Fabric replicas

You may need to add a new replica to an already-running set of replicated Bravura Security Fabric servers; for example, if a node failed because of a disk crash, and a new server had to be built to replace it.

To add a new node to an existing replication environment includes:

  1. Prepare the node by installing the operating system, database and Bravura Security Fabric software on a new server.

  2. Add the replication node .

  3. Synchronize files and registry settings from the primary server.

    You can do this by navigating to Manage the system > Maintenance > File synchronization , or running updinst from the command line.

  4. Configure the new application node and test replication .
