Front-End (PSF)

When a user visits the index page for Bravura Security Fabric instance they are directed to the Front-end , which is used to provide access to Bravura Security Fabric and to present the user with a menu of available options.

To configure options for the Front-end :

  1. Click Manage the system > Modules > Front-end (PSF) .

  2. Ensure that the PSF EXT option is enabled - that it is set to an appropriate authentication method.

  3. If you set the authentication method in PSF EXT to User-selectable, type a list of authentication keywords (comma delimited, no spaces) in the PSFEXT VALUES option.

  4. Configure the options in Table 1, “Modules > Front-end (PSF) options as required.

  5. Click Update to submit the changes.

Specify a plugin to generate a file to download.

MAX MOBILE DEVICES

Specify the maximum number of mobile devices that users may register for themselves.

PROFILE ID TAG

Allow users to enter their profile IDs on the Front-end login page.

PSFEXT VALUES

All possible values of PSF EXT.

PSF EXT

Authentication program or method to run for self-service front-end authentication.

PSF FORCE ENROLLMENT

When users login, automatically direct them to appropriate modules to complete enrollment tasks.

PSF IDENT AS AUTH

If this option is enabled, Bravura Security Fabric verifies the user’s password against the target system selected for identification. If the verification fails, or if the selected target system is not in the authentication priority list, then Bravura Security Fabric tries to verify the password as determined by NUM HOSTS VERIFY and the authentication priority list.

PSF MOBILE REGTIMEOUT

This is the number of seconds that a user has to scan a QR code when they are activating their mobile device using the Bravura One app before the activation will expire.

Default is 300.

PSF PLUGIN

Add functionality and HTML to the front end. The default plugin is psf-plugin.py.



Enforced enrollment

Bravura Security Fabric automatically directs users to the appropriate module if they need to complete an enrollment task.

To control which tasks users must complete before their profile is considered complete, add one or more of the following comma-delimited values to Manage the system > Modules > Front-end (PSF) > PSF FORCE ENROLLMENT:

If users have not defined enough personal questions and answers, they are directed to the Update security questions (psq) module.

psr

If users have not registered for transparent synchronization, they are directed to the Password synchronization registration (PSR) module.

psl

If users have not registered enough accounts, they are directed to the Attach other accounts (PSL) module.

idr

If users have not supplied required values for profile and request attributes, they are directed to the View and update profile (IDR) module. The Complete profile attributes pre-defined request wizard automatically opens.

mobiledevice

If users have not registered a mobile device, they are directed to the Mobile devices page.

psi

If users have not registered for voice print, they are directed to the Generate voice print enrollment PIN (PSI) module.

When web notifications are configured, they are shown to users first. When the user attempts to return to the main menu, they are directed to the enrollment task. Users are directed to enrollment tasks in the order in which the values are entered in this field. When the user completes all enrollment tasks, they are automatically redirected to the main menu.

To disable automatic redirection, clear all values from this field.
