Search your safe
Use the Search tool to quickly find items.
Perform a basic search using any Bravura Safe application.
Perform a full-text search using the web interface, desktop apps and browser extensions.
Note
Search results are limited by any filters selected before searching; for example, if a safe, type, folder and/or collection filter is selected, only items within the specified filters will be searched.
Basic search
Used by Bravura Safe mobile apps. The following safe item fields are searched:
Item Name
Login item Username
Login item URL
Card Brand or last four digits of the Number
Identity Name
Note
Basic searches automatically include leading and trailing wildcards.
Full-text search
Used by Bravura Safe web interface, desktop apps, and browser extensions.
Automatically includes leading and trailing wildcards.
When no results are returned via full-text search, basic search is used.
Fields searched for every item:
shortid
: First eight characters of the item ID.organizationid
: ID of the item's Team (if it belongs to one).name
: Item designated Name.subtitle
: Depending on item type; login Username, card Brand or last four digits of the Number, or identity Name.notes
: Item Notes. Only full-word matches will be listed unless you use wildcards.fields
: Name or value. Only Text type field values are included.attachments
: Name of the attached file.login.username
: Login item Username.login.uris
: Login item URL hostname value.
Searching specific fields
Search for data in specific fields by starting a search query with the "greater than" (>) character and indicating a field (above). For example:
>login.username:hpotter
will search for login items withhpotter
as the Username.>name:Royal Bank
will search for any safe items withRoyal Bank
specified as the Name.>fields:QAnswer
will search for any safe items with a custom text field with the NameQAnswer
.
If no field indicator is present, all indexed fields will be searched.
Wildcards and advanced search parameters
When searching specific fields, use the asterisk (*) as a wildcard character for specified search values. For example:
>login.username:*@company.com
will search for any login item Username that ends in @company.com
.
