What to store in your Enterprise Team
Your Enterprise Team, of which you are now a member, is a global Team that your entire user population will join. As such, you almost certainly do not want to store passwords or secrets in this Team, as this could potentially provide all staff access to those sensitive pieces of information, posing a security risk. It is therefore recommended that, when creating additional Teams for sharing purposes, only a subset of staff members be included in those Teams to mitigate the risk of providing incidental access to inappropriate users.
That being said, there is often less-sensitive content that is appropriate to store within the Enterprise Team, making it accessible to all employees.
This might include:
URLs to federated web applications
URLs to common employee resources, such as handbooks, HR policies, and security policies.
Add these items to the default collection for the Enterprise Team and optionally create additional global collections as needed.
