Regular Team settings

Team owners/admins can access regular Team settings to edit Team info, view or rotate the Team API key, or leave the Team.

Note

These tasks can be performed only by a Team owner using the Bravura Safe web interface.

Team maximum file storage

The maximum file storage (i.e. attachments, shares, etc.) per Team is 100 GB.

Navigate to Team settings

  1. Log in to Bravura Safe via the web interface.

  2. Click Teams.

  3. From the Team drop-down, select the regular Team for which you want to access settings.

    Note

    Alternatively, from the My Safe view, click the Teams drop-down and select the Team.

  4. Click the Settings tab.

  5. From the Team info page:

Edit a Team name or identifier

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings > Team info page.

  2. Modify the Team name or Identifier as desired.

    Note

    Users logging in using SSO will require the new Team identifier the next time they log in.

  3. Click Save to save any changes.

View or rotate Team API key

The Bravura Safe Team API key can be used to authenticate to the Bravura Safe public API or Directory Connector. The client_id for a Team API begins with "organization." followed by the clientId.

View your Team API key

Warning

This key allows full access to your Team. Keep it private.

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings > Team info page.

  2. Under API Key, click View API key.

    You are prompted to enter your master password.

  3. Enter your Master password.

  4. Click View API key.

    The API key values (client_id and client_secret) are displayed.

  5. Click Close.

Rotate your Team API key

If you feel your Team API key has somehow been compromised, it can be rotated as follows.

Warning

After rotation, any active implementations using your current API key will need to be reconfigured with the new key before use.

Use a secure form of communication to share the new key with an admin or other user. See Create a Share.

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings > Team info page.

  2. Under API Key, click Rotate API key.

    You are prompted to enter your master password.

  4. Click Rotate API key.

    The client_secret value is changed.

  5. Click Close.

Leave a Team

Caution

Bravura Security recommends having multiple owners for each Team. If you are the only owner, you cannot be removed.

To remove yourself as a Team owner/admin:

  1. Navigate to the Team Settings > Team info page.

  2. Under Leave team, click Leave team.

    A confirmation message appears.

  3. Click Yes to confirm.

    You are removed from the Team (see caution above).
