Preparation

Before you can begin to manage passwords on Salesforce you must:

  1. Obtain a Salesforce administrative account.

    Contact salesforce.com to do this.

  2. Enable the Salesforce API.

    1. Navigate to Administration Setup > Manage Users > Profiles .

    2. Select your UserID that accesses the API.

      Set a profile of Platform System Admin and within the profile, enable API access by selecting the API Enabled checkbox.

    Note

    Credential Provider (CP) 4.2.0 supports Salesforce API version 32.0.

  3. Create at least one template account.

  4. Ensure that the Bravura Security Fabric service user is allowed to access Salesforce site via HTTPS.
