User experience with Phone Password Manager

With the sample integration script, this is the end-user experience:

  1. Users who forgot their password or locked themselves out of their accounts or workstations, call into the company telephone system (usually a "Private Branch eXchange", or PBX).

  2. They dial the extension allocated to the product.

  3. They authenticate themselves with the configured factor (the default ones are QnA and/or a token number like RSA or DUO, Okta, RADIUS, etc).

  4. They choose operations to perform on their accounts (like password [reset], account [unlock], HDD emergency unlock or unlock code retrieval).

  5. (optionally) They write down the new password or code that the IVR spells out for them.

  6. (optionally) They use the code to unlock their device.

In the case of unlock or reset, the system does the work automatically.

With some work, the outbound capabilities of the phone integration can be used, to call out to end-users and deliver urgent messages to their phone/cell numbers.
