Implementation overview

Follow these steps in a test environment before production rollout:

  1. Prepare infrastructure: install Bravura Security Fabric nodes and database; plan for multi-node replication.

  2. Integrate SoR: configure HR feed(s) or other authoritative sources.

  3. Deploy connectors: enable inbound discovery for target systems and test data collection.

  4. Design identity schema: attributes, formatting, privacy rules, and identifier generation.

  5. Define RBAC and SoD: role catalog, mappings, conflict rules.

  6. Configure workflows: approvals, escalation, certification cadence, and notifications.

  7. Enable portal and delegated admin: scope visibility and self-service controls.

  8. Test: onboarding, transfers, deactivation, certification, and rehire flows.

  9. Train & communicate: admin runbooks, business-owner guidance, and user-facing help.

  10. Stage rollout: pilot groups → phased production → monitoring and tuning.

Best practice

Start with a small set of connectors (e.g., AD, Exchange, HR feed) and incrementally add systems to limit blast radius and speed early wins.
