Create a folder

Create a folder using the web interface

  1. Log in to Bravura Safe via the web interface.

  2. Click My Safe.

  3. In the left panel, beside Folders, click safe_plus_icon Add folder.

    An ADD FOLDER dialog appears.

  4. Add a folder Name.

  5. Click Save.

    The new folder appears in the left panel.

Edit or delete a folder using the web interface:

  1. Log in to Bravura Safe via the web interface.

  2. Click My Safe.

  3. Under Folders, locate the folder you want to edit or delete.

  4. Click the corresponding safe_edit_icon Edit Folder icon.

    The EDIT FOLDER dialog appears.

  5. To edit the folder:

    1. Make changes to the Name or nesting as desired.

    2. Click Save to save any changes.

  6. To delete the folder:

    Note

    Deleting a folder will not delete the items in that folder; they will simply be moved to the "No folder" folder.

    Note

    Deleting a 'parent' folder will not delete 'child' folders nested within it. 'Child' folders will remain with the 'parent' folder name included.

    1. Click the safe_desktop_windows_icon_delete Delete icon.

      A confirmation message appears.

    2. To proceed, click Yes.

Create a folder using a browser extension

  1. Click Settings.

  2. Under MANAGE, select Folders.

    The Folders page appears, showing any existing folders.

  3. Click safe_plus_icon (Add folder) at the top right.

  4. Type a folder Name.

    You can nest folders using the folder name. See Nested folders . To access items in a 'child' folder using the browser extension, first select the 'parent' folder under FOLDERS in the My Vault view. Then, on the next page, select the 'child' folder under FOLDERS.

  5. Click Save.

    The new folder appears on the Folders page.

  6. Click Back to return to the Settings page.

Create a folder using a mobile app

  1. Open the Bravura Safe mobile app.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Under MANAGE, tap Folders.

  4. Tap Add safe_plus_icon.

  5. Enter a folder Name.

  6. Tap Save at top right.

    The new folder is listed under Folders.

  7. Tap Close at top left to return to Settings.

Create or edit a folder using the desktop app

  1. Open the Bravura Safe desktop application to the My safe view.

  2. Click the Add folder safe_plus_icon icon next to FOLDERS in the left panel.

    Alternatively, select File > New folder from the menu.

    An ADD FOLDER pop-up appears:

  3. In the Name field, add a descriptive name for the folder.

  4. Click Save safe_desktop_icon_save.

    Once created, you can select the folder and click safe_edit_icon (Edit folder) to rename or delete a folder at any time.
