Excel example

For API-driven reporting, Microsoft Excel provides:

This example uses the sample file Excel-REST-Example.xlsx. Contact support for assistance.

Procedure
  1. Open the Excel-REST-Example.xlsx file.

  2. Enable content if prompted by security warnings.

  3. Browse the data sheets to see sample data and understand the structure.

  4. Optional - Connect to the Live API by clicking the Data tab and selecting Get Data → Launch Power Query Editor.

  5. In Power Query Editor, go to Home tab →Manage Parameters.

  6. Update the following parameters in REST API Connection Parameters:

    • BravuraBaseUrl: Your Bravura Security Fabric server URL

    • BravuraUsername: REST API user account

    • BravuraPassword: REST API user password

  7. Click Close & Load.

  8. In Excel, go to the Data tab → Refresh All (or Ctrl+Alt+F5).
