Adding a target to Bravura Security Fabric

  1. Configure the target system on the Target system information page at Manage the System > Resources > Target systems (Navigation may vary in different versions of Bravura Security Fabric).

  2. If required for the target, add additional target system administrators.

  3. If necessary, configure target system operation locking.

    Under normal circumstances, you do not need to set manual locks because there are already internal locks set in Bravura Security Fabric ; however, in some circumstances, manual locks are necessary; for example, when using a mainframe system and a telnet connector with no inherent locks, your mainframe target system may limit the administrator to have only one login at a time.

  4. Execute the auto discovery process to ensure your changes take effect and to harvest new user and account information.

    This is not necessary for event configuration.
