Getting started

Locate the event system variable on the appropriate configuration page,

System variables are listed in Manage the system > Maintenance > System variables , and also various configuration menus listed in System options that can trigger external programs . The description for configurable events begins with "Program to execute …" , and each one has a Configure event button.

You can use the Configure event (ITSM) module to configure certain ticket target updates and email notification, or simply add the name of the program for scripted configuration .
