Adding user classes

Click below to view a demonstration of creating a user class via the Policies > User classes menu, including: adding a new user class, specifying participants, defining group membership criteria, testing resultant users and then refining the participant list by adding attribute criteria.

To add a user class:

  1. Navigate to the User class definition page for a new user class.

  2. Type an ID and Description to search on and identify the user class.

  3. Click the drop-down menu to select the policy type for your new user class. Select "[Shared]” if you want your new user class to be available to all user class policies.

  4. Click Add.

    The Participant specification page loads.
