Using the Configure event (ITSM) module
The Configure event (ITSM) module provides a GUI for configuring event actions. All events that can be configured have a Configure event button that connects to the console, where you can use a template to create email or add a program to run.
Certain ticket system interfaces can be configured using this console, without the need to edit a PSLang configuration script. When you use the Configure event (ITSM) module, Bravura Security Fabric automatically modifies the appropriate sample configuration file and copies it to the script directory. This applies if you want to:
Send email
Update tickets
Bravura Security Fabric currently supports configuration via the Configure event (ITSM) module for Remedy Action Request System 7.5.x, 7.6.x and 8.0 For other interface programs, you can use the Configure event (ITSM) module to activate the event action option, then write a configuration script for the program. You can configure multiple programs for the same event.
Only super users or product administrators with the “Configure modules” privilege can access the Configure event (ITSM) module. See Preparation for other requirements.
Note
The interface is provided by the itsm
program, included in the <instance>\cgi-bin\ directory. Unlike other web modules the itsm
console does not allow or require any configuration via the modules menu in the Manage the system (PSA) module. It is not related to Remedy Action Request System ITSM, which is supported by the agtrem-itsm
connector.
You access the console by clicking the Configure event button for the event options found in locations listed here , or in Manage the system > Maintenance > System variables. An example is shown below.

A separate window opens for the Configure event (ITSM) module (options vary depending on your configuration):

Now you can:
Configure ticket updates for certain target types
Add email support if ticket updates are not required
Add programs to run for systems for which automatic configuration is not supported
