Targeting a PeopleSoft Application Server

Targeting requirements are different for:

PeopleSoft Application Server 8.54+/HR

After you have prepared PeopleSoft Application Server, add the target system in Bravura Security Fabric (Manage the System > Resources > Target systems):

  • The Type is PeopleSoft Application Server (PeopleTools v8.54+).

  • The Address uses the options listed in Table: PeopleSoft Application Server (PeopleTools 8.20-8.48/v8.49+/v8.54+) address configuration.

    The address is entered in KVGroup format:

    {server=<server>;port=<port>;dbserver=<dbname>;[classpath=;] [schema=<schema>;][dbtype=<type>;][enableonreset=<true|false>:]}

  • Add the following target credentials:

    • The Administrator ID and Password identify the user created in Configuring a target system administrator with System not enabled.

      Enter the Administrator ID in the same case as presented in PeopleTools. By default, PeopleSoft forces IDs into all capital letters. In that case, type the ID in all capital letters in Bravura Security Fabric .

    • If PeopleSoft utilizes a domain password add a second set of credentials with System not enabled using the following format in the ID field:

      domain#<iamdomain>

    • Add a target system administrator with System enabled, using the system ID and password used to access the database server, specified in the address line, which contains the PeopleSoft business tables such as PSOPRDEFN. Select the system account checkbox for this account.

    See Configuring a target system administrator for database access for more information about the need for this account.

    If the system ID/password is not specified, the connector will use the PeopleSoft credentials to try to connect to the database.
